Opinion on trim with coral
Think Im gonna go with coral and AW. Not sure about aluminum or black trim. I have seen a few pics of coral with alu, but no black trim. Any coral and gloss black pics?
Personally cant stand any of the other choices, so its between the two. |

I have coral with the black trim and it looks quite good. The black interior with the black trim matches well and the contrast with the red is very good.

No pics but I would vote for the black...just be aware that it isn't piano black, and has some amount of glitter to it in direct sunlight.

I personally TOTALLY DISLIKE the silver fishscale trim.
GET the gloss black trim if you don't like the grey poplar trim, which is what I will get with Alpine and Coral leather. I have seen many combo's in person. The Alpine/Coral/Grey poplar is HOT HOT HOT. |

I have BSM with coral and black Gloss trim..Looks fantastic.
When I took delivery of my car it came with the silver fishscale trim by error. Put up with it for four weeks till my correct trim arrived..What a difference. No comparison IMO..Toooo many colours with the silver fishscale..Interior looks much more classier in Black High gloss trim. |

My car arrived at the dealership so I went to give it the once over; they are still prepping the car so I cant get it until Monday. Anyhow, I got the coral with the Glacier and WOW it is amazing. I was orignially worried because the of the textured part of the trim but after seeing it in person I can only say, "I made the right choice". It's soooooo hot yet not over the top.
Here is a pic of the combo, (but not of "my car",....yet) Also, I think seeing the combinations in person make a huge difference than seeing it in pics. But on the other hand, the blk trim should look good too. Just depends on what you want. I saw it in a couple cars at the dealership but I never saw the coral with blk trim combo so I cant actually give my opinion on that. But knowing BMW, I'm sure it looks great. Those Germans are obsessed about everything and probably spent forever picking the trims for the US market.

I really like the black/coral combo, but I went with aluminum in mine. I was concerned that the black would eventually show scratches and didn't want to have to deal with the frustration of it. It could well be more durable than I think it might be, but I plan to have this car for a while and didn't want to risk it.

I went with the Glacier Aluminum trim on mine because I found the black trim on the car I test drove constantly has glare.

Here's a pic of Poplar with Coral. It looks a bit brown but it's pretty black in real life.

Coral w/ Gloss Black
Honestly I really wanted the Alum trim, until I saw the gloss black and I was sold. Here are a few pics I took today for your consideration.

Everyone knows that brushed aluminium looks the best
Doesn't collect dust like the gloss either:

I have piano black trim in my Audi A3, and I'd much rather have had the Aluminum. The black shows every spec of dust, and every fingerprint, and is prone to scratches. To me, it just looks like plastic. I'm very much considering a retrofit.

My 325 has the aluminum trim. I'll give BMW props for using real aluminum, but living in a southern state, I'm not exaggerating when I say that you can get a pretty bad burn from it in the summertime. I love the way it looks, but it's dark poplar wood for me on my 135 vert since we're moving to South Florida.
