Another positive vote for Dan at United. He provides quality information, great prices, great service.
I've had my grills from him for weeks now and I still don't have my car lol. With all the videos and pictures he's taken, it's really provided a lot more information for people looking to buy. I know I'll be doing more business with him in the future.

I ordered the ///M door sills from Dan and don't have them yet (and don't really expect them anytime soon). But Dan's continued updates and information posts on this site make me a future customer for anything I may need. Dan rocks!:headbang:

I"ll add my kudos. I wanted to order a rear diffuser, which was not listed on the site, but he quickly added to the site so I could order it. Product is now in hand. Great experience.

Even though I have not yet ordered from Dan, he has always answered my questions promptly and is always very friendly. If I could only make up my mind I would have already ordered from the BEST vendor on the forum1:roundel:

Different Opinion of United BMW's Service
I see many have a good opinion of Dan's service, but I wasn't impressed. Ordered accessories on 13 June, waited patiently to hear nothing about status. Followed up with e-mail 5 July, got confirmation order shipped on 7 July. It's 16 July and still no delivery...

The customer service is second to none. Even when certain mistakes are made (that can be frustrating) they fix it as soon as you bring it to their attention. I would give them a big thumbs up!!

I'm one of the lucky ones...I live about 35 minutes from United BMW. I've ordered several performance items from Dan...great price, great service, and on time as promised if not earlier. Sometimes I have it shipped directly to my house and then other times I just drop in to visit with the guy. He is truly one of us in every respect except...he doesn't own a 135i...yet:biggrin: I think he's working on it:wink:
Perfect? No, but then he wouldn't be a 1ADDICT Call

I thought I would add a fact about the ///M door sills. Originally the price was somewhere around 150 dollars and about 10 of us were ready to purchase with our credit cards down already. Then about a week or two later Dan informed us they would only be 65 dollars. Honestly, think about it...he had 10 peoples money already at 150 dollars and STILL had the decency and good customer service to lower the price since he was paying less. Thats what I call an outstanding company to purchase from.

Bought a Nav DVD because I was told it did not come with the Military Sales vehicles. Vehicle finally arrived with the DVD. Dan took it back without complaint. Sure, they always say refunds are no problem but then they gouge you. No gouging here. Dan will continue to be my first choice when possible.

I purchased some items during the 4th of July promotion. Apparently, one of the items were backordered, but I was not told. Everything looked kosher on his website (Status: sent). I didn't find out until after I emailed Dan asking about the status of my order. It turns out that he didn't even ship out my package. I email him asking him why FedEx was saying that the tracking number was created but had not been sent. He apologizes and sends out the package right away.
After I got him to ship it, I emailed him again asking him to make sure everything was right. The backordered item still had not come in, and he fails to mention that in the previous email. He sends another email stating that it was not part of the package that was just shipped. However, he tries his hardest to make his customers happy. He has offered to give me this item at NO cost once the item comes in AND has given me store credit, which is very admirable (however this item has not shipped out yet). I've been dealing with another company who was willing to give me much less for a much worse mistake (imo, and STILL HASN'T BEEN CORRECTED, you know who you are but won't say anything until the situation is settled). All in all, even though he made mistakes, he was willing to make his customer happy and that earns my repeat business in the future (and be wary of what it says on his website ). |

Adding to the Kudos – not only for Dan but for the team at United. Eric (CA) and Roger (Master Tech) as well as Dan took great care of both me and my 1 yesterday. Short Shift Kit + Performance Exhaust install. Great location, nice comfy leather seats + biz area and bang on the 3hrs I was promised. If you can get your car to them in Gwinnett, GA for installation work, Do it.
