Key Fobs

Did anyone else notice that the two key fobs supplied for our cars, have "Male" & "Female" stickers on the back, or was I just to pre occupied in driving the beast to notice.

Inside your manual, youll have a sticker sheet you use to put those stickers on

G'day, zuzu. No mine fobs don't have the stickers, however I was supplied them and various other stickers (A,B,C,D,1,2,3,4,star,rhom,circle,etc) on a sheet. Thanks to you I now know what the stickers are for!

really?! what's the difference joe? if they actually did something, it would be cool - like if the female one automatically turned up the lights on the vanity mirror.

Ok...Mine came with the stickers..

The stealer must have been trying to get my wife on side at delivery and I didnt notice.

All I was thinking was..give the bloody key so that I can get out of here..lol

maybe its just for the vert owners since the car can have both a feminine and a male personality.

I thought I read somewhere there was a vibrating feature on the female fobs that you can switch on on your i-drive settings....:wink:

ps. try asking the dealer what the intergated key is for. it's hilarious. I was told that you give the integrated key to valet so they can't open the boot...

...umm...okay, I guess they just put the integrated key into the ignition and turn do they?

(I know what it's for, but I found it funny having to explain it to them).

I didnt realise the fobs had that logo until I was reading a US post last night, where they were discussing the fobs..

The integrated key is for the glovebox, you can then put valuables in there, lock it and give the car fob to whoever to drive the car still..

There is also a hidden switch in the glovebox to lock the boot.
