+1 I would like to understand the trade offs better as well. There is a website: http://www.tintcenter.com/ that has some basic information but I would like to know what is happening in the real marketplace.

I've heard nothing but amazing things about Formula1. It's a bit pricey, but I figure if you're going to invest in your car, it might as well be done right. I'd like to hear others' opinions as well on this.

3M's new tint is called 3M crystalline and is (from the research I did) far and away the best. It replaces the CS as their top end non-metallic tint.
HO makes a very light, almost transparent tint for heat rejection that I think is still unique in the market. I was going to get formula 1 until I learned about the new 3M stuff. |
