Track Pads, coming to a theatre near you.
I just heard from Turner Motorsports that they have some track pads for the 135i made up. I think I'm getting a set to check out. I asked them to post a thread here in Commercial to let us know the details...
Just giving a heads up. I'm pretty psyched! |

Makes a huge difference. Just a note, but I would not use the Blue fluid, even though it makes it much easier to see when you have the new fluid at the caliper. I use the Type 200 (same thing, except not blue) because I've had it noted on my service report that I used "Racing Brake Fluid" before from the BMW Techs...
As a report, I did an Evolution Performance Driving School (basically a very high end autox school where you try to beat multi-time national Solo champions), and was in a very small group, where I had to do consecutive Autox runs (12 in a row, with about 15 seconds between runs). The stock fluid just boiled, and I lost the brakes... you should have seen the fronts just smoking away... If I had've used the ATE, that would not have occurred until more runs (or not at all). |
