How long did the second one last? lol.

Just buy one off FCPEuro and get lifetime replacements.

Sorry to hear.

Interested to know how long it lasted as well. Im still on the original valve cover. 119K miles. The car spent most of its miles (110K miles, 3 years) in FL with the previous owner but has been in NY for 4 years(9K miles).

Any unusual driving habits you can think of? Oil change intervals? etc...

Thought it was my turbos at first but my buddy’s shop has been pulling everything a part to figure out the oil stench and he said it looks like it’s the pcv. I replaced it at 65k ish miles and now it seems to be out again at 95k.

Normal driving with occasional pulls but not beating the dog shit out of it. Oil changes 3-5k using OEM BMW OW30.

So was that like 2 years? Not sure how long 30K miles went for you lol. But if you had it done by the dealership it's 2 years unlimited mileage.

Thats interesting. How was the installation? Do you have instructions by chance? Would like to see how you remove the old pcv and install their product and if it can connect to my mishimoto oil catch can.

Went to their site and they are claiming heat is the cause of PCV failure.

Install is easy. You pop the pcs valve out and tap and plug the top port.

I told them I wanted to hook mine up to my Bms catch can and they sent me what I needed to do so.
