HELP: Coolant Fan is Always On After Cold Start Delete

Hello all,

My 2008 E92 M3 has armytrix exhaust and it was extremely loud on cold starts.

I decided to code the cold start sequence off and my performance shop tuned it.

Immediately after the tuning, I started the car and coolant fan is always running on high speed even if the car is cold.

We deattached the battery cable, waited 15mins, tried again, no fault codes but coolant fan is always on when car running. It stays on after stopping the engine but stops completely after a while.

What could be the cause? Is it the tune or it was just a coincidence that water pump failed in that short time?
