reputable shops in SoCal

Any recommendations on a shop that specializes in f8X in the socal area?

I’m looking to get the following work down:
- swap out my coilovers with stock EDC suspension (I have the struts)
- retrofit LED headlights (I have the LED headlights)
- change driver seatbelt and buckle (minor accident that caused the seatbelt to not retract anymore, I have the new seatbelt)
- code out the airbags (recently got in a minor accident and the headliner airbag came out but just replaced)
- Bumper swap, while swapping the parking sensor, cameras, and headlight washer fluid (my current bumper is in terrible condition and I have a new bumper on me)

I’m hoping there’s a shop in the are that can at least do these types of work. Been jumping around shops, since some of them are stating they can’t do some of the work listed above.

European Auto Source (EAS). They are quite active on the forums. Every time I’ve gone, I see all sorts of neat builds, track builds, etc. Kevin in sales/customer service is very responsive and easy to get along with.

I usually go to RTMotorworks in Arcadia CA. Richard is a nice guy and specializes in BMWs.

I recommend Precision Designed Motorsport in Anaheim (https://precisiondesignedms.com/). They did my Icon headlight retrofit.

S5X in Irvine.

Mostly depends on which you’re closer to.

EAS if you’re closer to Anaheim.

DrivenSD if you’re in SD

The absolute best is SSR. They might not be the cheapest but their shop garage looks like a supercar collection and they 100% know what they're doing. They make one of the most popular crank hub solutions and a lot of other stuff. Located in Irvine

Definitely don’t go to SSR. Went there, got my crankhub, downpipes and stage 2 tune there and had a lift tick within a couple hundred miles. Avoid them.

I recommend Joseph Raskin if you’re near Costa Mesa. raskin_built on IG. He is very detail oriented and gets it done right.

Kevin @ EAS. They have done nearly all the work on both of my F82 M4’s. Highly recommended.

Hey guys. Appreciate your responses.

I got almost everything done thanks to Dialed In, since they are local in Rancho Cucamonga.

The only thing I need done at this point is the headlight retrofitting. I had xenon’s but got LED but they obviously don’t work without wiring and retrofitting. Please let me know if your recommended shops can do them because most places I called, they said they couldn’t do them.

Yeah with them…but after spending an extra 3k. Also got brakes done with them and there’s a noise when I turn left slightly and when I hit the brakes at low speeds. Took the car back in and they just tried to bed the brakes. Also had a scratch on one of the brake calipers after pad install which they said “could have been a rock” that popped up. And after the work I think I need an alignment. The guys there are nice, but I would never recommend the work outside of cosmetic stuff.

Speaking of brake calipers, anyone have a recco for paint caliper paint work? Figure if it’s scratched might as well go a different color.

Is TAGMotorsports still doing them?
