Trim w/Terra

As it seems Terra will be a Priority One option, the next debate I'm having with myself is what interior trim to get with it. I think brushed aluminum looks best, but since that wont be available in the US I'm considering either piano black or glacier aluminum. I do think piano black looks nice in a lot of different combinations but I'm not sure if it will "pop" in a terra interior. My fear with glacier is that it just doesn't measure up to brushed aluminum and will not combine well with terra. Thoughts?

The glacier aluminum has a kind of fish scale texture that looks very, very good (I live in Sweden and it was in several of the 1-series hatchbacks at my dealer). I am getting it on mine, but with black leather.

I love brown leather but think it is less sporty, more elegant. So I'd go with piano or one of the wood choices.

Anyone Seen Silver w/ Terra?

I'm most likely going with Titanium Silver (AW is my other choice, but everyone's ordering AW!). I love silver cars in general as the color most closely represents the sheet metal that lies below the painted surface. Plus, it makes me think of the great German race cars. I love the old school silver/red and silver/brown combos. However, BMW gives us Too Red, instead of something just a little darker and more practical. As for the brown, I love Saddle (Space Gray/Saddle looks amazing) but we get Terra instead. I really don't know Terra. Has anyone seen a Terra interior in a silver BMW? How did the two go together? Any pictures you can point me to?:iono:

i'd vote for gloss black. AL trim makes 3 colors in the cabin (not counting above your head issues). 3 colors is too much for me. jmo.

128er, my question is slightly different. Brushed aluminum isn't available in the US as is discussed in the post you refer to. Instead, glacier aluminum is available in the US so what I think I'm really asking is if people think piano black would look good with terra.

I'm with you. Brushed alu would have looked pretty good, but the glacier I wasn't too sure about, and went with gloss black trim instead with terra.
