FS: Ohlins Road & Track Coilovers

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
Sold

Item Interest
Up for sale is a set of Ohlins Road & Track coilovers with custom Swift springs. I had these on my M4 for ~15k street driven miles (no track use at all). Never had any issues or weird clunking noises with them installed. They definitely transformed the handling of the car, and were one of my favorite mods.

Front springs are 450 Lbs/Inch and the rear springs are 900 Lbs/Inch. Will come in the original boxes.

Located in Irvine, California. Not looking to ship at this time.

Most Ohlins have a much firmer spring rate for the rear than the front, is it possible your rates are backwards? I think OE is 90/190 n/mm which is about 514F/1084R lbs/inch.

Not saying you're wrong, just wondering if the rates are as-quoted.

Whoops, thanks for catching that! I fixed the post. You are correct though, these springs are a bit softer than the default springs. After reading a few other threads about the out of the box setup being a little too stiff and talking with Barry at 3DM Suspension, I decided to go with these spring rates.

That makes more sense

I imagine they ride pretty well, a lot more tame than the standard spring rates.

I haven't ran those, but from what I've read on the forums the Ohlins are better
