F80/F30 climate control heater/ac not switching off whilst ignition running

Hi guys, need some assistance here. Recently i can’t seem to switch off the climate control. Lowest i can go to is one bar for the fan speed. Use to go to 0 but now it wouldn't completely shut off whilst ignition on/engine running. I don’t think it is running when the car is switched off. I have got a video of the issue but not sure how to attach it there. Any help would be much appreciated.

I think you need to hold the fan speed button to turn it off.

^^ What he said. Hold the "lower" fan speed for a second or 2 and it will shut off.

Fun fact, when the system is on Auto, you can still adjust the fan speed, but instead of it actually commanding the speed on the screen, it's actually interpreted as the limit of how fast it can go. Auto will still adjust the fan as need be, but it will simply "top out" at whatever you have the speed set to.

Anyone got any solutions? Took it to the garage today they couldn’t figure it out. Climate control only switches off once the car is switched off but on 24/7 whilst car running/ignition mode

I have this problem on my M2 also. Its an identical IHKA unit as the F8x. I haven't spent too much time with it yet but I can say factory coding the IHKA module didnt do anything.

Annoying to say the least.
