Wash mitt question
Can a wash mitt, in my case the one from chemical guys, be thrown in the same load with my drying microfiber towels and a waffle weave used for streak free window wash… I typically wash these together, but wanted to know if I could throw the rung out microfiber mitt into the mix.
I used the chemical guys microfiber wash soap. I know not to use fabric softener Last edited by jonf49; 11-03-2022 at 08:04 PM.. |

As long as your mitt is as clean as the micros then it's no probs to wash together. I use the Deep Fill setting on my washer for a nice full tub (like for a large wash load).
If anything is contaminated from grit, grease or whatever I replace it instead of trying to wash it.

Before putting the chemical mix in the washer I use a bucket of hot water with a good shot of Dawn dish soap as a pre-wash. I dunk my mitt first and swish it around good, then drop it in another clean bucket. Dunk/swish your other soap/wash rags next, one at a time, and last any rags with chemicals like wheel cleaner or your drying agent. If anything is super dirty I leave it soak in the pre-wash bucket overnight. If any rags have a greasy spot it gets a spray of Shout rubbed in before going in the washer.
