Avoid Wedge Performance

Hey, just warning everyone to stay away from Wedge Performance (Ken Atkinson, Steven) if they want to custom tune their F80 on hybrid turbos.

I’m not sure if anyone else knows how their business works, but i found out that the price you are paying for a custom tune on their website is ONLY FOR A BASE MAP. They are not obliged to provide you ANY revisions. I found this out after trying to get a refund from an awful experience with them explained below:

I paid $1200 USD for their tune on my Vargas GC+ and the customer service and maps were absolutely disappointing.

After a month of revisions, the car was doing 17psi on pump gas with a 60-130 of low 9s, slower than stock turbo, and the car on E40 was doing 21psi with a 60-130 of mid 8. I was getting a reply every 4-5 days and the anticipation was all disappointment.. They told me that without PI and Motiv Reflex they would not be able to do more than 600whp with e40 and that the pump gas map would be capped at 21psi. After repeated back and forth emails and them completely ignoring my concerns on why the bootmod hybrid turbo map is doing more psi and power than my custom tune, I asked for a refund and they refused.

I switched tuners right away to ABP performance and cracked 630WHP on straight pump gas ONLY with a safe afr of 12 and absolutely no timing corrections at 26psi. With e40 and meth we then did 30psi with torque being managed at the lower rpm for engine safety and the car did a 60-130 in 6.15s (6MT).

Stay away from those clowns, they stole my money for some shitty maps slower than the ots 2H map. Imagine if I spent the extra $2000 on PI just to get my desired goal of 650whp 😂😂😂. I feel bad for anyone tuned by them, I can just imagine how much power theyre actually missing out on

Take my word for it and don’t look at them if you’re looking for a tuner. Attached screenshots of their buffoonery.
