Bimmer Plug CF MPE Exhaust Tips

What's up, everyone!

Sorry I don't know how to resize the pictures!

Just thought I'd throw a small review out on Bimmer Plug. So I lucked into a good quality MPE exhaust system but it didn't come with tips so I searched around to find some that weren't like $1000+. I couldn't find ones that were made for the MPE exhaust size. I found a lot that were the stock or comp exhaust size.

I found Bimmer Plug and they had the appropriate size so I ordered them. I messaged the guy on Instgram and he responded quickly and seemed to be ok so I felt a little hesitation but not enough to stop myself.

COST: They totaled out at $636.40 with free shipping. I don't know if the free shipping is still going on but the price seemed fair to the other brands I've seen. Nothing super cheap but nothing super expensive.

SHIPPING: I ordered on October 12th, 2021. I received them in the box on October 25th, 2021. They did ship from China but it was pretty fast and uneventful. The box was wrapped very well and taped up. Inside the wrapping was a box, and the tips were individually wrapped and protected inside individual boxes. The shipping quality was awesome!

QUALITY: The tips were pretty good quality. I'd say A-/B+. They had a few small blemishes, nothing that would be visible once mounted.

FITMENT: The fitment was perfect. They slipped on and they were tight but movable. Once tightened, they weren't going anywhere. The clamp bolts seem a little long but it is what it is. I might just dremel them down so when I replace the rear diffuser it doesn't mar it up.

OVERALL: I like the fit and fitment. I liked the responsiveness of the Instagram contact. I'd buy from them again for smaller purchases, the bigger ones I'd like to confirm fitment but for small things, yeah I'd buy from Bimmer Plug without hesitation!

Nice tips, but I fear you way overpaid for those. X-PH has the same kind for about $400.

I'm going to hopefully be installing an MPE in the next week or two and I'll be using the tips I bought from X-PH for my regular exhaust that is on it now.

Hey Mike, just fyi I easily fit your tips to my MPE V1 muffler just now. You have to tighten down further than the stock exhaust, but they fit absolutely perfectly. You might want to update your site to show this as it could help others with MPE needing tips? Thanks!!

Sorry to crap on this thread as well OP, your tips and exhaust look great!

Yeah I knew you could buy a different size and snug them down, but just wanted to make sure to get a proper set. From what I hear the bolt length after you snug it down will scratch up any rear diffusers you try to put on so I wanted to avoid that in the future. I respect anyones choice to do so though! Just thought I’d give some insight into Bimmer Plug!

FYI to everyone, these are literally the exact same tips off Aliexpress for like $50, they're likely the ones by sumsoo, places like XPH and Bimmerplug resell a lot of items like this with large markups, it's how their business works (xph to a degree, bimmerplug essentially entirely). Paying $600 is hilarious when that's the price of real oem... For cosmetic items you always want real OEM or to look for the actual source of the product being resold, I've bought plenty non-cosmetic off xph.

You got some fat tires on those 437M. What's the tire size and are you using any spacers.

I can't tell whether or not this is from there, but if they did then I got the good ole bait and switch. I didn't buy the AliExpress ones or the Sumsoo ones but I like what I got and it fits for now. $600 doesn't seem like it's OEM, can you link those? I might switch if it's 600 for all 4 new. Thanks!
