E92 M3 by Firechicken - German Originals..
Guess who´s back
After 5 years of company with my e92 335d and infinite mods, I finally went to the Nürburgring and realized that it´s time for an upgrade.. It was a nice way to say goodbye and finish our journey, I bought myself a nice F15 40d as a daily, the 335d is for sale, and it was finally time to find a weekend ride as I always dreamed about. Only thing I cared about was that it´s a european car with no damage history, white wasn´t my first choice but as I came to look at the car, it was love at first sight. So i proudly present to you my new project toy: 2010 M3 E92 LCI DKG Second owner, pretty high mileage (220k km, around 135k miles), first paint all around, interior in pristine condition, rod bearings changed this year at 215k km. Fully stock other than H&R Springs. Some pics as I went to pick it up Plates arrived, first ride.. Some interior shots - repolstering the steering wheel was the first upgrade, also made it thicker. After that, I bought a set of used valve covers and had them powder coated. Before ..in progress.. After K&N panel filter Throttle actuators Bought the upgraded ones with lifetime warranty from Jason (rebuilds.co.uk), doesn´t get better for the price, in the EU at least!! And last but not least, i found a set of 19" BBS CH-R (CH105 - CH107), had them powder coated and now waiting for the tyres to finally mount them on the car.. Plans?? Quite a few, but it will have to be a slow journey as I just began to build a house, and all the finances are funneling in that direction. But for this season I still plan to invest in: - braided brake lines, brake cooling and OE Performance pads - 80mm exhaust tips - dechrome side grills/M3 emblem - ride the hell out of him on the Ring, at least 50 laps.. |

Excellent look! OEM + is the only way to go.
When you towed with your 335D, how were the trailer brakes controlled? What kind of hitch?

Here´s the hitch, EU standard from Westfalia. In the EU there´s no electrical brake control. Last edited by Firechicken; 03-29-2022 at 08:45 AM.. |
