EDC delete

Thoughts on an EDC programming delete v a hard ware delete? Any references and reviews for a programmer? Getting a coilover set up installed next week..
Thanks in advance for sharing.

Would recommend just coding it out and unplugging the EDC module located in your trunk.

I had Alex @ Alpine code out my EDC while also getting euro MDM and a few other things. Was a reasonable price and cheaper/easier than an emulator.

Unplugging the EDC module takes less than 10 minutes and only requires a screwdriver (if I remember correctly.)

You can sell the edc module for 100-200 bucks or keep it in the event you want to go back to an edc setup.

Just coded out my edc and pulled the module a few hours ago. My EDC module went. Even after I coded the car, the fault remained despite clearing faults with ISTA.

The correct way is to code the car and (important) then unplug the module. I wouldn’t even bother with an emulator. You will be pulling the same panels regardless.
