275/40 R20 M sport all 4 tires

Hello,

I have a 2018 35D M Sport and am thinking about running the 20x10 (275/40 R20) on all four tires vs the staggered. The tires I'd like don't come in 315/35 R20 and the selection is more plentiful if I can run the 275 across all tires (plus rotations become easier).

Am I missing anything or would that work?

If it does work....now I've gotta find 2x 469M 20x10's. lol

Yes, you can run a square set. But do be aware that the front Style 469 wheel style has a different (higher) offset than the wider rears. This means that the higher offset and less width is going to make the rear wheels fit further in from the fender.

So to get an exact idea of what the new rear fitment will be vs the original wider wheel/tire…use this site: www.willtheyfit.com

Run the original wheel/tire specs for the rear against the new rear set-up’s wheel/tire specs. The site will give you the “poke” and “inset” differences.

I believe from past threads on this topic…you would need to run an approx 15mm wheel spacer in the rear to keep the wheel from looking sunk in. But again, run the specs at the link above so that you can get the exact specs for the change.

Ok excellent to know! That makes total sense. I wonder how many people are doing that?

I am using 4x 285/40 R20 on staggered rims. This is OEM winter tyres size for X5M. In my case rear rims are too wide and tyres are looking a bit strange, stretched on such a wide rim. I plan to buy 2 front rims and spacers. I'm doing all this hassle to be able to use non Run Flats

what size of spacers are you going to run on the 20x10s that you put on the rear?
