A fond farewell

Well folks, we've come to the end of the road in my 6-series journey. I accepted a purchase offer on my car today and we are wrapping up the paperwork before she goes off to her new owner. It's been a fantastic 3 year journey with this car and I firmly believe that mine is one of the best early production examples of the F12 generation. I'll remain an active member in this particular forum, as well as in the F15 forum since we still have the X50 Xdrive50i

The decision to sell has to do purely with the fact that we have 3 cars at the moment and one of the BMWs invariably ends up not being driven for weeks at a time. The 6-er is the older of the two, and with her warranty expiring in 3 months I figured it's best to bid her adieu.

What's next? Nothing in the immediate future. I'm not a fan of the direction BMW styling is taking, and my bucket-list of cars still include an S-Class, CL-Class and Bentley Continental GT so there are some options. For now I'll just have to make do with with the plush nappa-clad, B&O flooded drudgery that is the X5 :P

I do hope you lurk a bit.... I can't tell you how helpful your posts on the car play module and android auto, and the like were to me. The level of detail and your personal experience you shared was incredibly helpful to me.
