I bought this off eBay and installed it for 1 track season. My mechanic recommended removing these if the car is tracked a lot, as they can cause coils to overheat and die. I track my car a lot, so I am going to purchase one of the vented Skyer engine covers (because I love lots of carbon fibre in the engine bay). Includes the black M emblem as pictured.
This is an eBay product and the fitment is only OK. The pics show some scuffs on the cover, it actually came that way, and one hole that is enlarged - also came that way. I never had any issues with this coming loose when it was mounted. It looks great, but I need the vented one due to track day heat.
