Can coding be keyfob specific?
Did a quick search and didn't find an answer to my question. I apologize in advance if it has been answered before and I just couldn't find it. Can each keyfob have its own coding (i.e., seat position, side mirror position, AC, etc.)?
I was looking into getting BimmerCode. Would I be able to make the required adjustments with BimmerCode? Thanks!! |

Isn't that what "Driver Profiles" are for in the iDrive system? You should be able to create different profiles from within the car and assign a different profile to each key.
Here is a quick youtube video about it...

Thanks F80_BK. That makes sense. I haven't taken delivery of my M4 yet, so I haven't been able to explore. But I was also asking for my wife's 2014 Z4, which does not have the iDrive system. How would I do that for a non-iDrive car?

Coding changes features to on/off or a value (like speed at which auto-locking occurs) - it's not keyfob dependent. The things you can change via iDrive (or the switch and button on the turn signal stalk) are set in whichever profile is active at the time.
