sunroof wind noise?

My new to me 2008 135i with 120k miles is a bit loud going down the freeway. The noise comes from the roof at highway speeds with the sunroof closed. When I shut the sunroof headliner, it gets quieter, so I assume the noise is sunroof related. I checked the roofline and the sunroof seal and all seems to be ok.

This car is pretty weathered from sitting in the California sun for the last 12 years- prior owner didn't have a garage at home or work. Is there a gasket or weatherstrip in the sunroof that tends to go bad?

Here's also a video (if you prefer a visual) for resetting the sunroof, if that's what the problem is. This car is an E90 but it's the same procedure:
