Resonator to add to test pipes?

As far as I can tell, nobody currently sells resonated test pipes.

I purchased some Active autowerk ones, and am putting them on this week. I'm suspecting I am going to get a bit of rasp pairing it with my MPE exhaust.

I suspect putting a resonator in the test pipes would help this quite a bit. However, I'm wondering what resonator in particular would be a goof choice, considering it will be so close to the header. Don't want the heat of the exhaust to melt/damage the resonator.

Suggestions?

Rogue had some resonated test pipes. They may still, but they were the only I'd seen.

Correct. They are no longer in production.

Since nobody seems to make them, my question is what would be a good resonator to add to regular test pipes that are durable enough to be so close to the header?

Is there a reason you want them so close to the header? i had rasp issues with my catless x-pipe and had Vibrant resonators added closer to the axle back. Solved my rasp issue

Trying to get them in the same position as the primary cats. The removal of the cats is what introduces rasp. Seems like the logical place to put them.

I'm keeping the factory x pipe for now. Don't know if there is a good spot on the factory x pipe to add additional resonators.

Would it be an option to replace the secondary cats with resonators instead? I think that would be the best place to put them with test pipes.

Do not want to remove the secondary cats. Keeping them to reduce smell.

i remember reading in the forum that even with Rogue's resonated test pipe, it did not reduce rasp at all when pairing with MPE

consider scrapping what you have an get this xpipe.

https://afepower.com/afe-power-49-36...-cat-resonator

the power figures they post are nonsense, but the pipe does add power and sounds great. no rasp, no check engine light. black friday is around the corner...
