ECE spec F82 LCI rear fog lights

Would anyone with a non US-spec F82/3 LCI mind posting what part of the tail light is the rear fog light? OLED would be even better...I suspect the US models are missing the wiring/hardware but I'm trying to confirm.

Thanks,
Dave

The "rear fog light" is the "Brake Force Display" light in the middle of the taillights. Under normal braking, the brake light in the taillight goes on. Under hard braking, there is an additional, brighter brake light that goes on to indicate to warn following drivers that the driver is braking harder than normal.

When rear fog lights are enabled (standard in Europe) and switched on via a separate switch on the rotary headlight switch (this is a blank in the U.S.), the same lights come on to help following cars to see the car ahead more clearly because they are much brighter.

There has been plenty of discussion about both the Brake Force Display and enabling rear fog lights on U.S. cars. Try searching.

I suggest you try searching. The brake force display on the M4 CS in US spec is the outer turn signals. This is probably the same with all F32/82 LCI. That's why I'm trying to figure this out. Thanks.

It's not my problem. Works perfectly fine with my '16 M4 Coupe and my wife's '18 M3. Same light, same location, in the middle of the taillight, enabled on the M4 with E-Sys and on the M3 with Bimmercode. I was trying to be helpful.

I gotcha and I appreciate it, but I searched and there has been little discussion on this. This is a unique situation to the LCI F82.
