Careful - Lots of scamming on the forum these days... Pricing seems low, zero real activity on the forum, and odd pictures.

Location says "Miami" but those first 2 pics doesn't have any palm trees? And isn't Miami flat as a pancake rather than hill side homes?

If people skeptical about buying it, use the paypal protection and pay the 3% fee. its a peace of mind when you have the buyer protection.

This is really annoying. If your not interested in buying, no need to comment. The photo of it that I first posted is a photo I had from when I bought the car that the previous owner took. I just went today and took those extra photos so people could see them up close. If someone is actually interested, it's pretty simple to verify they are real. I can video chat you next to the car or set up a private auction through eBay so you will have buyer protection.

My apologies, I only said something given all the scamming going around on the forum but would've been best to provide all these details up front to avoid suspicion.

Also, as someone that's bought ST kit used. They're a bitch to ship without damage. Due to the weight everything needs to be packaged/boxed independently and then boxed together. Regardless of insurance, UPS is basically useless to rectifying damage. Also it cost ~ $350 to ship from NJ to CO.

That said, $3k for a full kit is a screaming deal for someone local!

Sorry man, and again best of luck with the transaction.

Thank you very much. And duly noted on the shipping! Local would definitely be easiest but we'll see what happens. Might put the rotors in a separate box being that they're the less important part and more likely to be the culprit of any potential damage.

You now raise the price to $3500, and the plates are Washington haha

As forum members I think we’re just trying to look out for one another and question suspect scammers that been on the rise. At the time of this thread you had single digit posts selling a big ticket item. Plus per my previous post that background photo clearly wasn’t Miami and you didn’t state it was photos from the previous owner. We weren’t wrong in our assumptions that your original listing seems very suspect.

That said I wish you well selling these brakes. I think if you join and contribute to the forums you’ll have better luck selling items in the future.

Ok. I clarified the listing. Sorry I didn't make this ad pretty but if someone is actually interested in buying, give me a call and I'll send pictures, details, chat etc. as multiple people already have. Clearly 3000 was too cheap as I already have multiple people interested in under 24 hours at that price and I'm being told the price is too good to be true and it must be a scam so I raised the price to 3500. The car was purchased in January from Washington and shipped to Miami where I live. The brakes were already on the car when I bought the car. I am taking them off and selling them before the car is totaled as my instincts were correct in that they had value. If they don't sell here within a few days, I am just going to list them on eBay so people feel more comfortable and you can bid there (or not). Chances are in all reality that they will be sold by then. Anything other than actual serious buyers who want more photos, info, etc I am not going to respond to any longer. I think I have done my best to answer all important questions and have provided what was/is needed. Thank you

To people inquiring: due to the storm here and other logistical challenges I cannot get the brakes off of the car until Monday so they are not available and I cannot take photographs of them off of the car until then

I have seen Stoptech F+R kit selling for $4200 new. Assuming these sold for $3500 you are only "saving" $700, but really aren't given that some of their life is gone, you do not know what condition they are in, AND also run the risk of damage in transit given that the seller may not package them soundly.
IMO at $3000 it could be worth it. Just my two cents.

Incorrrect. 4200 would be just for the front brakes. Look on eBay, there are tons posted. Rears alone run 3000. It's about 7k for the set new. Either way, they are sold by tomorrow. I have about 4 interested parties, all at asking price or very close to it.

Agreed, you can get a brand new trophy kit and brand new rears for a little bit more cash. I think at best 3k for used set of Stoptech otherwise just go new. Just my my 2 cents as well. Best of luck to the buyer and seller.
