Wheels and Tires HELP!

Hey Everyone, getting my stage two work done on my 2010 manual 135i. We are building for 550RWHP and I need help deciding on wheels and tire combo that I can use for daily driving with good grip and good wet weather.
Then I'd like to know your recommendations for track tires. Please include sizes and possibly a brief description why for both if that ok.
Please make your suggestions with as much info so I can look them up. I'm still learning.
Thanks Everyone!

Well I could give you my opinion (MPSS) but highly recommend you call The Tire Rack and talk with them.

Norhern Dancer is right for both wet and dry daily. Michelin Pilot SS or 4S. There's a reason most of the super cars come with them . With that said you really need wider wheels with that much power. I. Am barely get 335 down safely can't imagine 550. Just make sure you don't kill someone on your way to hit a light pole. I would talk to the people at APEX wheels about biggest wheel you can run to get more rubber on the road. Good luck it must be an impressive ride!

Just going to add to this, i have 375whp (on the weekends) and even on a nice warm Sydney day I sometimes struggle to keep them from slipping in 3rd on MPSS with a 245.

With Apex Arc-8 wheels spec'd for a 135i, the widest tire that will fit will be 265, maybe 275 if you protect your filler neck. Gunna need something sticker even at that width than MPS4S. Maybe RE71R or something in the 200TW category if you plan to street drive. Otherwise, maybe widebody is in your future?

Apex ARC or EC7 allow for 265 back 235 front, though the rims will fit a bigger tire if you have spacers/rolled fenders

As for tires, I’m quite partial to Nitto 555 g2. Relatively cheap, do decently well in rain, and they’re surprisingly quite. I will say they are a summer tire and in cold weather take a while to warm up

Perfect tire for an autocross car you want to drive to the event
