New to M3 - is this a 2012 E92 M3 a good buy?
I saw this 2012 E92 M3 in the a local BMW dealership, made an appointment but when I came down there, it was in their sister company having the the cat put on. The cat is on back order and to reserve/save the car for me to look and and test drive, I had to fill out an application. Just wondering if you guys think this is a good deal. They are firm at 31,998. Here's the link

That's a little high for a car with 50k miles but those headlights are around a grand and the steering wheel is also aftermarket. Plus the wheels and exhaust so if you like the combo and you would replace those on a stock car anyway, price could be fair.
The KW1 is an adjustable height solution from KW that uses the stock shocks. Is it better? Depends. It'll get rid of the fender gap but the stock dampers aren't meant to work at that height and will have some difficulty properly controlling the movement of the suspension.

$32 firm when I bet they didn't give him more than $24k on the trade. Direct from P.O. if you had seen it here for proabaly $27k with the tune still in place and still win/win vs dealer getting his cut now.
That said you gotta love the modifications done otherwise I wouldn't buy a 3 owner modded car without all of the maintenance history. |

It looks clean and I don't think 31k is too high for a desired car with only 50,000 miles roughly. I would push for an extended power train warranty. I would also plan on a $2400 rod bearing job ASAP for piece of mind. Not a fan of the wheels myself however. Maintenance records would be good as well.
