No power, sounds like limp mode. Do you have any mods?

Turbos don't just stop altogether unless they disintegrate internally and in that case, you would suck bits of impeller into your engine and you there would be no doubt. Also you have a 2011 which means you only have a single turbocharger. You have an N55 single turbo model. In the N54 earlier twin turbos the charge pipe would crack and you would lose power. I'm not sure if that is common in N55 but you most likely have a hole or maybe an stuck open wastegate if that's possible. Inspect your intake pipes for cracks. Have someone raise the rpm a bit on the car and listen for air blowing out of them. Finally, put an OBD scanner and even if no engine light on it can tell you if something is not working correctly. Good luck and let us know what you find out!

This is a pretty common problem with a simple fix, so that's good.

I feel lucky, my oe cp never blew on my old car, a 2011 135i with ~46k miles.

Glad, not an outragerous repair. I used to work an IMSA GTP factory team in the test department and one day one our motors blew up. I mean shrapnel and when I asked what happened, by boss pulls out a bent 10mm combination wrench. Someone left it in the intake and when the motor was under power, it sucked it into the turbo impeller, shattering it, then pieces were sucked into the motor. It was mess. You didn't need an engine light to see that motor was done. : )

On a different note, I wish BMW would 1. Make some plastic that is worth a damn or 2. not use plastic in oil pans, boost pipes, valve covers. Just a thought.
