Long Island BMW Maintenance Shop
Does anyone in Long Island/NYC area have experience with getting maintenance done at shops like petrol werks, m spec, bimmer shop etc.
Was looking for a shop that does good work with OEM parts at a reasonable price and can provide service records. Oil changes, spark plugs, diff fluid changes and even brakes etc. Dealership prices are insane, I don't wanna go call up every shop in Long Island as there's so many just to get pricing. |

Check out MNC Performance in Oceanside. These guys only work on BMWs and it’s a small 2-3 man team with the owner being a BMW master tech. Prices are VERY reasonable. I’ve heard good things about M-chanics but when I called them for a quote on springs and spark plugs for my m4 their estimate was $1000 higher than MNC. This isn’t the first time that I’ve gotten a high quote from M-chanics. I’m sure their work is top notch but I can’t justify paying dealership prices

spring installation (not counting the actual spring) is like 150-250ish and spark plugs are 150 for the plugs plus labor cost which def doesn't add up to even close to a grand |

100%, M-Chanics is not a “budget” shop. If you’re looking for cheapish labor, you won’t find it there.
However, if you live in the area and need a good relationship with a solid, super reputable mechanic, it’s worth the premium if you can afford it. |
