Thule / Cargo Carriers that Fit an M4?
I am planning a post-quarantine trip that will require additional cargo space. Since I have the sunroof, I'm able to install the BMW OEM roof racks pretty easily. But what's the best roof cargo carrier (Thule, Yakima, etc) that will fit an F82? It looks like they generally run from about 5' to 8' long.
Any recommendations from owners who have mounted a cargo carrier? |

Just in case it helps anyone else, I ended up mounting a Yakima Rocketbox Pro 12 to the OEM BMW roof rack rails. Drove it 3000 miles across the country without any issues. Strong cross-winds did push it left/right on the rack bars a little bit, but I only needed to tighten them down like two or three times during gas stops across the entire trip. Even at an 80mph average the wind noise wasn't bad at all.
