I was thinking exactly the same - powerlines and lightpoles both attract birds which equals bird bombs. Better than door dings, but I'd ideally like to avoid both if possible.

Think OP's M is fine,misses the trees and lines and the lamps are too slippery for birds to do the biz over car

I try to stay clear of everyone in car parks, other people don't care, they will open the door and dink it!

I never park in multistory car park either, some ramps are just too tight! and spaces are always really small, either too short or too thin.

mrs hates me for it, i usually drop her off and then go look for a space to park

Oh yeah, I go out of my way to park away from others. Most folks just don't care. I like the exercise, and it's easier to get in and out when you don't have to waffle through pedestrians all being funneled into the front of the building or place that you're going.

I do this too. But not under the lamppost though. But I will guarantee when you come back there will be somebody parked right next to you.

As far away from anyone as poss and only space to park down one side of the car 😜 drivers side (uk) next to kerb.
