My ///M is getting the Turbo Treatment

well a buddy of mine will be doing a Twin Turbo set up on my Z4M, just wanted to tease you guys a bit. I will be calling him tomorrow to arrange a time for when I will be dropping off the car. This will take several weeks and I will keep everyone updated. All I know at this point is we might be going with a setup similar to the 335i/135i to avoid turbo lag.

gl with the project but have you looked into your other turbo and s/c options?

you have a z4m right? so you have the god like s54 engine. now if you want to s/c the thing there is aa, vf, along with others but i would say the best is aa. now if you wanted a turbo there is already a kit by hpf, 3 different levels with the highest being 800+whp.

of course they would have to adjust some items for you but that shouldn't be a problem at all.

HPF does not have a turbo kit for any BMW car other then the E46 M3. AA and VF do not make a SC kit for the Z4M. Neither has a kit in production or testing and none of these tuners can tune the MSS70 DME. The only company doing a production SC for the car is ESS.

Artz is your buddy writing new software for the DME or is he going to use a piggyback ? do you have any details on the hardware or is it a custom one off project ? sounds cool

i know that and i posted in my post. z4m and e46 m3 are both s54 engines only thing different is the engine bay and DME/ECU which in a project like this should be no problem for any of those tuners to do or to make the special brakets for the new engine bay.
