I went with the middle one mainly because the full lip is a bit lower and would scarp a lot more.

I agree, I went with just the lip because anything lower I would destroy. I barely can make it out of my driveway now lol

I have neither - so cannot comment on it from my personal experience. However, for what it is worth, one of my good friends had a '14 M5 and he has cracked both of his front lip / chin spoilers. He went for the full lip and it survived a full two years till he sold it for the F90. Not sure if its his driving style or overly cautious nature with the full lip (after two broken ones). They were all different brands too, if quality played a role.
He went in for a full front lip for his F90 as well.

The main reason for the question was more for appearance over performance etc... I think the full splitter is a little OTT. The lip adds a nice aggressive stance.
Either way, I guess it's all subjective to a persons taste. |

Agree the lip is a very nice fit in the 'slot' below grille.
If I would go for one I would have a black flat plane splitter going right across but not edging upwards anywhere spoiling the bumper, then two rod supports from the splitter securing it going into air intake to bolt to a handy point and being a non CP should clear most humps etc giving the installation a mean look. |

I do like the full splitter. currently looking for one myself.
Just as others said, think it will scrape a lot but thats dependent on your roads where you live and how low your car is. Mine is stock height so dont think i should have any scraping issues |

Thanks mate. Taking the spoiler off and putting the new one on is simple. Its the middle part, taking the residue off. |
