HUD Display
Hey guys - I don't know if my eyes are playing tricks on me and I never noticed this or if I have an issue with my hud.
I noticed when it's dark my hud looks more like an LCD screen than just the numbers floating on the windshield. I can see the outline of what would look like a rectangle. Is that normal? I can't see it during the day or semi bright conditions at night but when it's dark it looks sorta like this [60 ]

The hud is a projection on the windshield, if you have brightness set to MAX, or really high, the background is illuminated as well. I find setting brightness to medium works best.

Yes normal. My wife’s X3 is even worse about this. I have to adjust brightness way up during the day or it’s too dim and then way down at night or I can see the rectangle outline.
On my F82 I just keep it somewhere in the middle and it looks good day or night. |
