Recommended service shop in LA area

First time up on service for oil change and brake fluid change and need a good shop. Recommendations near Pasadena or Westchester desired.

I have no problem changing the oil on my own, but don't have a good handle on doing break fluid on my own. Renting now so don't have all the tools.

I had Import Motorworx (Culver City) do a PPI and an oil change on my M3 when I was shopping. They seemed reasonably competent.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

Is you doing the oil yourself and your nearest BMW dealer doing the brake fluid an option? That's prolly what I'd do in your shoes.

Check out Garage 54 in Glendale. They work almost exclusively on M cars and own a bunch too. I just did pads, fluid, rotors, and guide rods through them along with some other service. Prices were reasonable and work was done quickly.

I like Star Autosport on Sepulveda ~ Olympic.

I've spent a good while talking to Frank and Albert, very knowledgable and ethical. Seen a few 3.0CSs and Z8s in the bays.
