Muffler Pipe Size

I love the sound of the stock exhaust, but wanted to change out the tips. Was looking to cut and weld/slip on some aftermarket tips. What size are the pipes after the muffler? Thanks in advance.

Would love to know if anyone has muffler delete feedback as well. Auto couture used to do mods for the e9x m3 models where they open up the original muffler and straight pipe it inside. The sound was absolutely perfect. Something I would do for the x6m.
