BM3 Flashing Used vehicle to "stock"

Buying a used M3,

I'm not sure whether the previous owner has a tune on the vehicle or not - it has intakes so i'm assuming it was tuned at some point.

If I use BM3 to flash it back to stock. Is it actually BMW OEM "stock" tune or is it just the original tune that is on the vehicle when BM3 first unlocks it....

Any advice on how to move forward on this? Take it to dealer and ask them to reprogram it? Its out of warranty so not worried about a flag. But I did read a story about a guy with a tune getting his DME bricked when they tried to reprogram it and was on the hook for a new DME. Yikes

BM3 keeps the cars oem tune, so weather its a GTS, CS,CP, bm3 won't alter it.You also cannot alter the oem tune with bm3.
