Hail damage
This week I got stuck on the highway during a hail storm that produced golf ball to tennis ball sized hail. Needless to say that caused quite a bit of damage. MY windshield is completely broken and I have dents on the hood, trunk, door panels, fenders, and some trim pieces. My insurance is covering it fully with any OEM parts that it might need, but I wanted to get some opinions on if there is anything else I should be worried about like damage to the cf roof or paint issues over time? I think 99% of it can be resolved with PDR, but I wanted to try to cover all of my bases now so I don't have any issues down the line.

Got any pictures?
I am actually surprised (going by the description of the size of hail) that your insurance didn't total the car out. I am sure you will loose a lot of resale value on the car having to repair all of that stuff. If it's a lease than don't worry about it but if it's your car I would insist (not seen the pictures just going by your description) that the insurance total the car out and get yourself a new one. Good luck |
