Knee pads still available?

Need a bit of help.....I have a X5 with Fineline Trim and the area around the cupholders is looking pretty beat up. I have the Mocca Leather interior and it appears from searching this forum the padded knee pads are not available in this color. My dash is smooth black in color, are the knee pads available in that color? Anyone have any Fineline trim they removed and want to sell? Thank you in advance for your help.

Yes it's available in black Napa. It's what I chose. Just know the stitching will be silver and not brown like the dash. Barely noticeable however.

I don't off the top of my head. I got em through Ben. I believe he is but I know they've gone up since I bought. Maybe $800-1000 now? Not sure. They were $600 when I bought them.

Have you tried looking up the part in one of the online part databases like:

I would have looked it up but I honestly have no clue what trim part you're referring to...a pic would have helped me help you better.

But if you go to one of the sites above...work your way to the diagram group where you would find these knee pads. Good luck.

I ordered a L&R set of Dakota knee pads from Cars245 on Ebay. Total with shipping from Latvia was $612. The left side for some reason came with contrast stitching whereas the right side sticking was black. I used my Doc Bailey's Leather Black on the left side (prior to installation) and they both match perfect.

I wasn't concerned buying via PayPal with the moneyback guarantee and the company would have to be legit to have an account. Two week delivery was worth the wait to save some $$ and not being in a hurry.

Isn't the info in post #8 and #10 showing up on your device? Post #10 has the diagram and link to the part database where you can get the correct 11 digit BMW part number based on the color of your interior.

Aren't these 2 different types of leather? I thought that Dakota has black stitching and Napa got white.

Apparently the stitching can vary. I ordered part #51169299125 (left) and #51169299126 (right).
