Question Putting order in on 22 inch wheels need recommendation on best offset for appearance

Ordering a set of 22 Inch wheels. This is for 2015 X5 50i Msport with stock DHP suspension.

Current recommendation is
22 X 10.5 +33
22 X 12 +23

I am reading some post with this setup 22 Inch wheel setup
22 x 10.5 +35
22 x 12 +29.

I don't know enough about offsets to make a decision. I want something that looks very nicely flush with the fenders and not to aggressive.
Any help is appreciated

Thanks for that bro, are you lowered or stock? Yours looks very niclely flush with the fenders.

My wheel guy is saying
Yes the front is only 2mm further out
the 23 offset rear pushes it out 6mm more from the 29, so 23 is a little more aggressive. If you don't want the aggressive fitment we can do the 29 for you no problem.

I guess the lower the offset the further out the wheel sticks from the hub.
I have to make a decision by tomorrow since they are building my wheel. Hoping to get some more feedback.

I have on mine 22" Vorsteiner VVF-109. Front is 22x10 +35 with 5mm spacers. Rear is 22x11 +30 with 12mm spacers. Tires size is 295/30 and 335/25. They now sit flush to the fenders

Looks really good do you have the X5 lowered?
Since I can adjust the offset for my wheels wonder if I can get it flush like you without any spacers.

I lowered it with H&R springs/links (springs in the front and links in the back). My wheels are flush with the fender flares without any spacers.

Anyone else on stock suspension can chime in? Trying to get the most flush look with M Sport Fenders on stock suspension without any spacers.

I am on stock suspension and running squared 22x10.5 +35 (5mm spacer front and 25mm spacer rear). This bring the wheels flush with the m-sport fender at the top.

Ended up going with the following as recommendation from my wheel supplier. He said the +23 is bit more aggressive wheel for rear in stock form and I wanted something bit more flush. Have to wait for 6-8 weeks while they custom build it. Now I just need to find some good rubber for the new wheels
22 X 10.5 +33
22 x 12 +29.

Thanks man, me too! Bit nervous yet very excited. Went with more custom grey metallic powder coat finish as opposed to standard gunmetal. Here a picture of the color on different set wheel. I think its going to look sick on the X5 with Space Grey.

Well you can always powder coat them something different if you don't like it. I'm sure it's going to look good though.

Hey fellas I don't even have my X5 M-Sport yet (still looking for the perfect one) but looking at buying the Verde V99 bronze wheels before hand.

Going off what others have posted I 'm planning on going with the sock size tires@ 275/40/20 and 315/35/20

For the fronts I'm thinking 20x10.5 ET30
Rears will be the 20x10.5 ET27

Being that diesel733 fit 22x10 +35 with 5mm spacers up front they are basically like a 22x10 ET30 wheel. Plus his tires are a full 1" wider, or about 1/2" on the outside.

Or should I play it safe and get ET42 and that will give me play room for a 5mm or 10mm spacer? I'm thinking if Diesel733 fit those 295s on a 10" wide with ET30 I should be ok.

I'm sure on the rears I'll probably need a spacer, I'll have to figure that out after I mount them to see.

Plan is to lower it on Eibachs as well, non air rear.

Thoughts?

First thought, nice choice on vehicle to find!

My new wheels will be here this week, ordered them with upfront 10x20 ET30 and rear 11x20 ET22.
I have the same size tires as you are looking to get.
Since you are ordering staggered tires, why do you want a square set up for the wheels?

Anyhow, my sizes should fit about perfect without spacers, since I added flares recently, and I'm lowered on H&R VTF springs. Hopefully I'm right!
I should be able to show you some pictures of the setup, later this coming week..

No reason just felt like running the square setup on wheels.

Hell yeah man thanks looking forward to the pictures. Please tag me in your post.

The ones I ordered ? They are Forgestar F14's The ones in the picture showing color are something else. Just need to figure tires out. I leaning toward Toyo's but just nervous they may be noisy.

Wheel should look something like this :

So no lowering? I want a 22in setup that sits flush with wheel wells. But still aggressive looking!
Can you post "full side profile pics" outside or more light please?
