Wheels Chart - sticky
I did a search - and I can't find a single and cohesive thread with pics and specs of all the available BMW wheels.
Maybe my search terms are off. I see threads about one style of wheel or another, so I just Google it to see the wheels...but I would have thought there would be a sticky. thx, -s- |

Also, the 2nd link above may not be in English...but if you click on either of the 3 pull down boxes in the upper left corner...you'll have no issue figuring out what you'll be searching for. The model numbers are understandable, the wheel sizes are understandable, as is the tire size box...all are easily understood. If you need to get an idea of what the wheel actually looks like...then you can simply go to one of the online part database and go to the WHEEL DIAGRAMS for the BMW model that you're seeking info about. The wheel diagrams give the same wheel style number and wheel specs...but you also get an illustration of the wheel. For example, if I was looking for BMW wheel style 468...I can find an illustration of it in the part database (in this case www.bmwfans.info)...and get also get the wheel's specs etc: Then finally, you can just simply google the BMW wheel style (type BMW xxx wheel style) into a google search box. See example below using the same BMW wheel style 468...2nd from the top of results was a link to the ECS web site that has a pic and price and specs etc.: Hope the information above helps you understand/find the info you seek. The info is all at your fingertips...you just have to put a few things into place in knowing where and what to look/search for.

Thanks everyone...I guess. LOL And thanks Qsilver7 for your response - helpful link. And you are correct in the lack of latest rims.
I'm aware of the above...and by search I meant a forum search, not Google. And yes - I guess I could take the time compile a list of all the BMW wheel numbers, and then to "Google" and then compile all the different wheel style numbers, their applications, specs, hub/bore, offsets, materials, paint/finish codes, etc. I asked just to see if someone had already done that. It does not seem like an unreasonable question for a forum as busy as this. |
