Anyone have a paint meter?

Was wondering if anyone in the North Jersey area has a paint meter that I could borrow to check the paint on my buddy's car he just purchased. Of course I would come to you if you would be so kind to let me use it where you are. Thanks!

Excuse my lack of knowledge but what is a paint meter??

I believe it measures how thick the paint is. Any body shop probably has one you can borrow

Measure the debts of undercoat/paint/clear coat. It is he sensual to performing a paint correction to in sure that you do not burn right through the clearcoat
