FS: e92 M Performance Exhaust (MPE)
Selling my MPE, just went catless with a new setup and pulled it off the car. Couple of notes on it: Previous owner of the car modded the pipes at a mom-and-pop shop based on the quality of the welds. Could be a good opportunity for someone with an e90 to potentially mod it to fit that chassis. Previous owner also spray painted the inside of the tips black, but with some elbow grease it could probably be removed. I bought the car a few months ago and this is just how it came, hence the lower price. Photos attached that show the welds. I believe it is version 1, there are no cracks. It is currently in storage with Matt at Cedar Performance in Dallas and can be installed and/or modded by him if you are local to the DFW area, or I can go pick it up and ship at buyers expense. Prefer and may discount for a local sale, but happy to accommodate any buyer. Asking $850. Last edited by Kelse92; 02-01-2019 at 01:22 AM.. |

Few questions...Where the poor welding is done, it looks like previous owner stretched the existing pipe or added another pipe? That section of the welded pipe seems smaller in diameter than the rest. That's what it looks like to me in pictures? Maybe someone took an e90 MPE and extended to fit e92? Do you know if the sound signature is the same as the original? Thanks!!

The pipe welded in is in fact a bit smaller in diameter, but I didn't notice any difference in sound and I have driven the car four months since my purchase like this with no issues and everyone loved the louder than stock, but not crazy sound it had which I presume is the same as a normal MPE. |

E90 vs E92 will differ in the tip length only, and those look to be original E92 tips.

The car itself had 47k miles when I removed it. I have had it on since I bought the car at 39k, but with the condition it is in (no cracks) I believe the previous owner was the first person to put this on the car. The documentation I have on the car, although very little, suggests that at most there is 20k on this muffler as the car was completely stock in photos I found when it was for sale prior to his ownership.

Interested in just the muffler if you're willing to ship to 60172 (Chicago area). You can pitch the connecting pipes.
