Remanufactured Transmissions (6 Speed)

So my car for the last few months would struggle to engage in 1st maybe 10-20% percent of the time. Cold/warm didn't matter.

Long story short, I am having the transmission swapped under warranty with a remanufactured trans from BMW after the techs found metallic shavings in the fluid.

2nd owner and at around 34K miles.

Anyone here have similar issues in terms of engaging into first

Or

Had their transmission swapped? With a remanufactured opposed to brand new.....
