Amber eye lids

I tried searching and could not find this topic clearly covered. On the f80, is there a way to change the eye lids from amber to white? It looks like the amber light is bulb created and would think this could be replaced with white - or is it more complex than that? I generally run with my lights "off" (just the halos) during the day so the lids are not illuminated. Any thoughts? Thanks.
