BMW E92 M3 welcome light problem

Hi all,

There is probably a thread somewhere about this, but wanted to ask anyways just in case someone knew a quick fix.

I recently changed out the stock e92 m3 yellow bulbs to these new cree led bulbs to make the headlights whiter and brighter.

When unlocking the car, the welcome lights would always turn on before, but after changing the bulbs, everytime I unlock the car now, the angel eyes never come on anymore, but everything else will. They will only turn on when i start the car.

I have the lights set to auto and have the welcome lights checked on Idrive as well. I never set them to anything else. Battery is also good and only a year old.

Has anyone ever dealt with this issue at all? I just want the welcome lights to work again, especially when I unlock the car.
