Dear M3 funs, I am about to buy a F80, which is discontinued. And i saw some drag race vids M3 vs Model3. I know M3 is spiritually better, but still I need help

So you are about to buy an m3 and already know it is spiritually better? What about m3 makes u doubt your choice? Off the line acceleration?

Different cars, different concept, different day to day operations, different maintenance and reliability concerns.

The only thing any decent electric car has vs traditional sports car is acceleration. Also in case with Tesla, those cars have the High tech that beats traditional cars.

So you decide but there is nothing that makes me want to have 3 over M3.

You forgot to mention that E-guys not only get our tax payers money (tax cash back), they don't buy gas anymore, sales tax from which is used to pay for roads which they use, thus making us cover for them yet again. And finally the autopilot option in their cars clearly shows they are not drivers, they are just sitters.

Do not buy electric cars if you don't want your grandkids to look at engines the way we look at horses.

On a different topic - did you see the new 911 has electric breaks? Hopefully Alfa learns from them how to do this type of system.
