Opinions please
I have read the treads, all of them, just want honest opinions from those with actual real world experience. I do not plan on down pipes, exhaust or any other upgrades, so not considering JB4.
For ease of install/removal and very similar power gains and cost I have narrowed downed my choices to either the Racechip RS or the Burger Stage 1. Any input would be appreciated from those who have used one or the other or perhaps have had experiences with both. Thanks |

35i or 50i?
RC seems to be the clear winner around here between the two choices above. Installation on the 35i is fairly easy, but the 50i takes a bit more effort. However, I think most people have moved on to BM3.

For 35i - I'm not certain on the new Race Chip GTS but for the Ultimate version the install and uninstall takes roughly 10 minutes. At first the most difficult part is trying to unhook the connector pins.. once you figure out how it disconnects it is easy. Most of the install and uninstall time is from screwing and unscrewing the plastic engine cover which needs to be removed in order to get access to the rear area. In terms of power and delivery. You will notice it after about a tank full of drive time for the engine to adjust to the new tune.
