Alternator issue possible
I'm getting the 4 light cluster display that denotes an alternator issue, codes were read and there are voltage spikes. The question is this only happens when the outside temp is in the 40's and below and it's intermittent for about 3-5 minutes (limp mode for about 2 seconds each flash of the lights). After the car warms up it doesn't happen again. Is this something anyone else has seen or had happen before?

Just went through something similar... I will be replacing the alternator next month. I posted a thread on it not too long ago here

Without the codes one cant say anything sensible about this.
Describe the voltage spikes and how you've measured these.
