AA midpipe with non-ZCP stock muffler

I've seen plenty of reviews stating this mod sounds good with the ZCP muffler, MPE muffler, or the Remus muffler. I want to improve the sound and volume slightly over my stock non-ZCP M3. Anyone install just the midpipe on their non-ZCP, non-MPE cars? How much louder does it sound? Does the car sound better? Was it worth it?

Below is a video comparing the AA pipe with stock and ZCP rear section. It definitely makes a difference and has a nice deep sound with the valves open. We have a sale on the AA pipe for $999 shipped and have included the link below if interested.

I’m in the same boat as you. There’s not one aftermarket exhaust clip I can find that sounds any good to me, yet everyone with exhaust mods says the audio doesn’t do the car justice. Couldn’t make up my mind so I just unplugged the valves and run with them always open. Sounds great, it’s free, and no buyers remorse with cutting and welding anything. I realize this doesn’t answer your question, but it’s worth a shot to try it if you haven’t already. I’m content with this setup.

I did exactly this with Remus midpipe

It's great sound mod. Definitely deeper and much more sports car like. With stock back end you might get some raspy bits in high rpm range.

What I like is that sound varies depends on comfort(quiet as stock), sport(more aggressive), sport+(loudest) so whatever you are into or where ever you are you can change the sound and not annoy neighbors or attract cops when you don't have to

I have 17 f80 non zcp and installed AA mid pipe and zcp muffler about 3-4 months ago.
It is louder but it is not same sound as AA mid pipe with stock ZCP car.

I have it. Here are two videos. YT kind of destroyed the quality of the sound but you get the gist. From 2k upwards, it's MUCH louder, and takes away a majority of the rasp. I actually really like the sound of the exhaust now.

I don't know why but mine doesn't make that sound (specially loud burble).
Does exhaust tips affect the exhaust sound too?

Nope, tips don't. I'm running BM3 so that accounts for the burbles. I'm in Fairfax too if you want to hear it in person.

That car sounds so much better than mine.
I guess that's why lot of people do BM3 lol.
I was trying to buy it but then it seems to be too complicated to me.
I wish there is someone who can install them.

If you buy the license, let me know. We can meet up and I can talk you through the install.
