285 tires on ZCP wheels
Hi,
I’ve got the ZCP 19” wheels and am running Michelin Pilot P4S in the stock sizes on them - 245 front and 265 rear. Could I go up to 285s on the rear on these wheels? If I do so will it give me any more grip, or do people do it just for the looks? I’m supercharged and want as much grip as I can get but don’t want to go to the expense of changing wheels. Jack |

I have been thinking about 285/30/19 all around on my square 19x10 ZCP wheels, but not sure if they will fit on the front. I dont want to run the usual 275/30/19 squared, as the sidewall is just to small...

I've been considering this also as I'd like a wider contact patch but the 275/35/19 looks too much like a truck tire to me.
285/30 seems like an option but the diameter is a half inch less than even the 265/35 which I'm not sure I want. (On zcp rims) |

The E92 GTS ran a 255/35/19 and 285/30/19 on the ZCP wheel equivalent. The issue is the Mich P4S doesn't come in a 285/30/19. The older PSS now does come in a 285/30/19. I ran this setup on my 2011 and 2013 E92 M3 before I moved on to VMR V810 flowformed wheels in 19X10 and 19X11 now with 275/30/19 and 295/30/19.
That all being said the 255/285 setup is a perfect fit IMHO. Here is a pic of my 2011 with the 285s out back.

I just got a set of 19x10’s a couple months ago and want to run 285/30/19 all around. they came with 265/35/19 all around and I hate how tall they are in the front.

I have stock zcp suspension and wheels and put on 275/30R19 fronts and 295/30R19 rears. I have about 1500 miles on this setup on my supercharged e92. Have still never heard a single rub even with passengers.

Similar here. I did 255/35/19 front and 295/30/19 rear on ZCP suspension. I may swap to wider rims next season but it served the purpose fine for me this year.
